| 2000 Results - 1 x 60lbs, 20 x 50lbs and many more 40lbs carp Landed. Oct - The bigger fish still being active during this month with a couple for fifties and a few forties gracing the bank.. Sep - The bigger fish have been very active since the beginning of September with many forties and 8 fifties being caught. Aug - The fish have been coming out on a regular basis, however the bigger fish have been very scarce on the bank this year, the week prior to the end of August produced the first fifty for a while now. June/July - The main lake has been fishing rather patchy recently with examples like 1 week 110 fish caught, the next week 10 fish. May - The carp where spawning last week but despite that my old buddy Paul Wheeler (S.R.) caught a 46 and a 36 on the 15th, no pictures as yet. Due to some group bookings that have been cancelled during the year we now have spaces available for the first week of each month throughout the year. *** special offer for June, July and August - a fourth rod is allowed to fish for the catfish for free using livebaits caught from the lake. *** 2nd of May, Steve Watson caught his new PB of 46 pounds. April - The first 60 and the first 50 (56 pounds) of the year have been caught during the last couple of weeks from DDI, also more good fish have been coming out of our two new waters horse lake (upto 47 pounds common) and ddi3 (27 fish in the week upto 31 pounds). The first two catfish have been caught from the lake by John Bernard and myself, the fish are in really good condition and allthough the two fish where only small (5 and 8 pounds) they are a very bright prospect for the future. A bait boat is now available for hire on site at a cost of £10 per day or £50 per week. The New lake has started to produce its first fish of the year with the majority of fish coming out at mid thirties to 39lbs with reports of bigger fish seen and lost. March - Bait is available on-site now, the DDI specials, made by mainline can be pre-ordered before your trip at a cost of £75 for 10 kilo's. January - The main lake and the square pool have both been stocked with catfish ranging from 3pounds to 30 pounds. Another stock pond has been created and stocked with carp between 1 and 3 pounds to ensure the future stockings of DDI.
