Dec 2002. Nobody fishing now, I managed to get a single night session after the thaw and caught a 15lb common and a 15lb pike on a pop-up!
Nov 2002. 01/11/02 Just a few regulars making the trips now we are into the colder weather, recently I have managed 3 twenties and also a 30 pound common which keeps up the astonishing run of commons being produced of late. If you are unfamiliar with Domains then I will tell you that there was a better percentage of mirrors to commons on the main lake but over the last 2 months we have seen many 20,30 and 40 pound commons being banked and they are being more common than the mirrors.
Oct 2002. 21/10/02 the fish have slowed down a bit now the cold weather is here but the odd fish are still coming out. Adam Smith recently broke his PB with a fish of 40 pounds. Some new properties for sale will be up on the website within 3 weeks so please watch out for those.
Sep 2002. 18/09/02 the fish are still fairly active and the first signs of the temperatures starting to fall are appearing. Not that many reports are filtering through at the moment though. A few forties have been caught over the last couple of weeks inclusing a nice 40 pound common.
Aug 2002. 30/08/02 Plenty of fish have been coming out this month with quite a few forties and lots of thirties gracing the banks, the larger residents have been a bit shy this month and we should expect the usual September/October appearence of these specimens fairly soon..
July 2002. 30/07/02 The fishing has improved this month, especially towards the end of the month, there have been quite a few cats over the 30 pound mark coming out and many carp to 49pounds have been reported just last week, I will put up more details as I receive them.
June 2002. 1406/02 The fishing has been a bit patchy so far this month, the start saw stacks of fish coming out of the back bay but the frantic action has died down now. The main lake is a bit patchy as well, lots of cats and grass carp are keeping our guests entertained but the big carp are being a bit shy, with just the two forties so far this month. Myself and Paul Wheeler were over at Bernards for the England game and what a day that was, Bernard even produced a bottle of chilled champagne after the famous victory - Thankyou very much Bernard! Here is a 21lber BEFORE the England game, and here is a 25lber AFTER the England game. My Dad had a nice 23lb grass carp whilst he was match fishing which kept him happy.
May 2002. The fishing has picked up with lots of fish coming out now, David Lovatt has sent me in a few pics which can be viewed here. 2 Guys fishing the back lake have just finished a weekend session having 50 runs between them with the biggest 2 fish just short of 30 pounds. Our new advert will be in the magazines this month, click here for a preview. A couple more 40's were out at the back end of the month.

April 2002. Please note "The SOMME is NOT flooding at Le Domaine des Iles because we are near the spring feed. A few lakes to the west of Amiens are flooding like usual but we have never flooded and we are open as normal.".

Congratulations Mr Szuca who caught this morning a 48.5lb mirror and then in the afternoon a 47lb mirror, superb brace of carp! His son Jamie continued his good run of fish with his 3rd forty in as many trips latching onto a 41 pound mirror. The pair also had a 30 pounder, 2 grassies and 5 cats, you can see their article by clicking here. Another family affair and this time it was Paul Masters turn to eclipse his wife Jean with a 46 pound mirror after last year when Jean pipped him with a fantastic fifty.

March 2002 Now that the weather has started to improve and with that the carp are starting to show around the lake, David fuidge had 2 days fishing with the ddi baits and was rewarded with a 28lb common, a 38 pound mirror and 2 twenty pound grass carp. Myself and Paul had a hard weekends fishing with some really cold easterly's which made it hard going for a 27 pounder and 5 grass carp. The winds warmed up a bit and produced a good night for Phil Gregory who after having a hook pull in the afternoon went onto catch 2 grass carp, 1 catfish, 21 lbs common, 34 and 39 lbs miror and lost 2 big commons!. Not content with that Phil went onto catch a 49 pound mirror.

February 2002. Just got back from a quick visit to see everyone at DDI and myself and Paul managed a 4 hour fishing session and an 8 hour session during the weekend and we where rewarded with a 22 pound mirror and a 35.5 pound mirror. Both carp scrapped really well and gave a very good account for themselves and both were in very good health.

January 2002. Hello Friends and a very happy new year to everyone, as I write the lakes are frozen but the cold snap is on it's way out and warmer weather has started to melt the ice so normal services will be resumed very shortly. The latest stocking of fish over 20 pounds to mid 50's have been split to 50 for the main lake and 35 for the back lake.
