Dec 2004. - We have just got back from this years stocking and the fish are evan better condition than last years which I thought at the time would have been hard to match, 120 fish to 55lb have gone into the main lake, 40 over 40 pounds and a further 60 have gone into the back lake. The fish are a mixture of commons and mirrors and most are only 6 years old and all are superb quality.

Every one at Domaine des iles wishes all our customers a very merry Christmas and a Happy new year.

Sep 2004. - 19/09/2004 - I have just received an e-mail from Bernard who has sent me photos of the following from the last couple of days :- 37lb 04oz mirror, 47lb 03oz mirror, 30lb 08oz common, 31lb mirror, 31lb 8oz grass carp.

Feedback 14-09-2004 - " Dear Bernard, We had a really great time at the back lake (sept 6 - sept 10). We stayed at the west side of the lake. This was our first trip to France. We didn"t know what we had to expect. We came at the domaine with the purpose to catch a France carp. Well, we did. I caught 11 fish and Alex had 10 of them. The weren't big, but the were very beautyfull. We will be back next year. maybe twice. greetings from holland Erik van de Ven and Alex den Boer. "

Only 5 carp under 20 lb , 41 carp between 20 - 30 lb , 8 carp between 30 - 40 lb and a big lump at 61 lb . "

I have just had news from Paul Wheeler that a 61lb mirror was caught the other day by JAMES STYLES from OXFORD ..

Aug 2004. - Aug 28th - "Dear Bernard, Thank you for my eventful 4 days at your lake,I found the sourroundings and the people very nice. i found the cabin nice and comfortable .me and my girlfreind would reccommend the venue to anyone who is looking for a relaxing and peaceful break with a chance of having a very big carp. On my first morning at the lake I had a 23lbs carp followed by a 46lbs monster mirror which i am pleased to say is my personal best! I also caught 8 high 20lbs all mirrors,over a 4 day period.I was so pleased with my results I am returning to the lake in 4 weeks time hoping for a 50/60lbs carp. Many thanks again, Regards Adam Mountjoy."

May 2004. - 31/05/2004 - The biggest fish of the year so far fell to Lee Roberts this morning who popped into DDI to tie up a few strings regarding the purchase of his new lake, the big carp (yet another PB for Lee from DDI) bottomed Lee's scales out at 60 pounds so we are unsure what the carp's actual weight was, we just know it was over 60 pounds - Anyway best of luck Lee with your new lake and don't forget to invite me and Paul down for a few days and we will try and catch a big one from your lake.
The same morning my good mate Mark Garner caught a 28lb catfish and my 7 year old son caught his pb carp at 20lb 10oz which dwarfed him.

Hi Bernard,                     Me and the lads would like to thankyou once again for your kind hospitality and warm welcome you gave on our recent trip to such a beautiful setting. Your knowledge and freindly approach helped us to feel right at home during our brief stay on the back water last week, with a personal best in the form of a 27lb Mirror coming on the last night to one of the lads. We hope and plan to do it all again next year, so in the mean time.... Many thanks Eon
First Week-end in May -  143 Carp and a few Catfish up to 36lbs (43 Back Lake - 100 Main Lake)   Best Carp 40lbs + caught by M. Willems. They have lost 2 bigger Carp as well and big Catfish.     They want to book again, last September 2003, they have a 58lbs !! By the end of the week the number of fish banked rose to 250 with 9 x 40lb+ carp caught.

16/05/2004 - Today we have champagne at the Cabin "Le Tarin" to celebrate the best Catfish so far 41lbs 4ozs Lake Record !!!!!!!

16/05/2004 - Hi Mr Caron  Had a great time last week at ddi you have a fantastic place, it was nice to just relaxe in peace and quite although the weather was not good for the fishing. I am looking forward to coming over again soon, maybe towards end of july, what spaces have you in july and sept. this year for weekends or midweek breaks.      thanks again      doug woodman.

NEW - There is now Light and electricity for charging the Baits Boat between Swim 12 - 13 and 14 - 18 and 19 - 22..
COMING SOON for 1st March 2005 - New Lodge for the back lake, in the picture of the Back Lake the implantation of the New Lodge is at the point in the middle. This Lodge is going to be very confortable with 2 double bedrooms - Toilet and Shower - Very nice Kitchen - Sofa - TV Satelite- Sun Bedchair - Terrace - fully equiped for 6 peaple . Every group turn up have to give a caution of 500 Euros by Credit Card Visa Number - No debit - In case of problem. There is now already Electricity and Water at the Back Lake.
