1999 Results - 3 x 60lbs, 19 x 50lbs and 51 x 40lbs carp Landed.

September - The channels in the main lake to the square pool have been blocked off and the fish moved back to the main lake, early reports indicate that this has improved the fishing as the fish can no longer sulk down the channels.

Husband and wife team Graham & Cathy Cannell fished the back lake for a week and shared 41 fish between them which consisted of 2 singles, 24 doubles, 8 twenties and 7 tench, Graham caught a PB mirror at 28.14 and Cathy banked a PB mirror of 29.08 and a PB common of 28.10. During the week an old friend (he's not that old really, I just havn't seen him for a while) Geoff banked a 52 pound mirror from the main lake, and the following week another 52 pounder came out as well.

August - I had a pleasurable week helping Bernard and managed a few days fishing for 5 carp to 43 pounds.
June - I had one of my weekend sessions at the lake last weekend (260699) and even though the lake was fishing slow I managed my new PB. This fish was 52 pounds last June and in the year went up to 57,58.5,66 then back down to 58 before I caught it at 56 pounds exactly. Congratulations must go to Bernards son John who tied the knot over the weekend.
In the last week of April, one of Graham Marsdens party accounted for 4 PBs which included 2 forties and a 58 pound carp.
26/05/99   NEWS JUST IN TODAY  concerning the bright future ahead for DDI, 3 new lakes are being invested in, one of 85 acres, another a dammed stretch of the river somme and the 3rd should be acquired tomorrow.  I will have more details on all of these very soon and I will be updating the web site accordingly.
